With Lottoland South Africa, South African residents (18+) can now bet on America’s super-lottery, MegaMillions.

And while the official MegaMillions lottery is available to US residents only, with Lottoland South Africa, you place a fixed odds bet.

If you predict the MegaMillions winning numbers, you’ll be paid out as you would have had you entered the official draw and win all the exact same main prize values, including the tier 1 winnings.

HOW TO BET.

To place a bet, just pick 5 numbers from 1 to 70 plus a Megaball number from 1 to 25. A single bet costs from just R70.00. Match all 5 numbers plus the Megaball to win the tier 1 prize.MegaMillions pays out 9 divisions of prizes.

The additional MegaPlier option can increase winnings from the second division by 2x, 3x, 4x, or 5x for just R20 extra per game! Please refer to our MegaMillions Product Rules page for more information.

*Note that Lottoland can at its own discretion decide to increase the price of the single line and mini bet if the underlying draw payout reaches US$1 Billion.

MEGAMILLIONS PAYOUTS, DRAW TIMES & RESULTS

MegaMillions draws take place every Tuesday and Friday night at 23:00* ET in the US, which is on Wednesday & Saturday at 5:00AM SAST *Keeping in mind the time difference from summer to winter times and vice versa. System Bets are a great way to increase your chances of winning by picking more than the required 5 numbers in a MegaMillions game. The more numbers you choose, the more the odds of winning are in your favour.

The exchange rate used is the spot rate of exchange (the closing midpoint) for that currency into EUR on the respective draw date as published on oanda.com or (if oanda.com is not available) the European Central Bank Euro foreign exchange reference rate published for the relevant date on the ECB website. This also applies for annuity payments. However, Lottoland may, in its sole discretion, chose to calculate and credit Winnings in the currency in which the Bet was placed.
