Q: How do I get my sports betting winnings?
A: All winnings that you make with your bets on are automatically credited to your player account. We aim to settle your bets as quickly as possible.
Q: Why hasn't my bet been settled yet?
A: We aim to settle every market within a matter of minutes. Please allow up to 48 hours for bets to be settled.
If a bet has still not been settled a long time after the event result is known, please contact our customer support.
If a bet has still not been settled a long time after the event result is known, please contact our customer support.
Q: How do I cancel a bet?
A: Did you change your mind about your bet? As long as bets for the respective event are still accepted, you can have your bet (minus a percentage processing fee) refunded at any time! To do this, simply select the "cash out" option in the ‘My Bets’ section of the sportsbook. Once a game has started, the cash-out feature can still be used depending on what is happening in the game. See the cash-out section of the sports guide for further details.
Q: Why can I no longer place bets?
A: Is the sports event you are looking to bet on no longer listed in the betting overview, or are bets no longer being accepted? This is most likely due to the fact that the game selected does not accept live bets. In the case of a live event, sometimes a specific market is suspended due to the result being a foregone conclusion, or that something important has happened in the event and prices are being recalculated.
Q: What is a live bet in sports betting (In-Play)?
A: We offer you the chance to bet on most major sporting events even after the event has started! This type of betting puts you in the heart of the action and offers exciting betting markets such as next goal scorer, 2nd half score, set winner and many more. Check out the number of markets we have available once a game has started. Look out for the LIVE icon next to an event to see if live betting will be available.
Q: Which sports bets are available?
A: At Lottoland you will find almost every sport, including all the most important games and championships from around the world. Among them are of course many popular classics such as rugby, football, tennis, golf, boxing and even motorsport. You can narrow your search by countries with just one click or you can only display all current live bets.
Q: How do I use the sports betting slip?
A: The betting slip for your sports bet can be completed with just a few clicks. First, select the desired sport. The betting overview now shows you all the events you can bet on, including the live odds. Select the game you want and the market you desire. The selection will now show in the bet slip and from here you can determine your stake. Once done, simply hit "Place bet" and your bet will be processed.
Q: Why has my bet been settled as void?
A: A “void” settlement means that your stake has been returned to you. If you are unsure why your bet has been made void, we would advise you to check the event for further details – it may have been cancelled or suspended.

SportbettingCash Out
What is Cash-Out?
For some single and multi bets, we offer a 'Cash Out' option. This allows you to take an adjusted profit or loss before the event finishes.
Cashing out is only available for certain bets and markets, and the amount that can be received is based on the actual run of play.
Advantages of using the “Cash Out” feature:
An early payment could potentially:
- Safeguard any winnings
- Minimise any losses
- Increase your account balance immediately without you having to make another deposit
For example:
You place a R10 live bet on Germany to win against Italy at odds of 2.40 (7/5). Let’s consider two scenarios in which you might want to consider a cash-out:
Scenario 1: after 30 minutes, Germany scores a goal and takes the lead 1 nil. Since this increases the likeliness of your bet being won, we offer you the chance to cash out for R18. You’ll have the option to either take a guaranteed R18 or wait until the end of the game in the hopes Germany win.
Scenario 2: after 30 minutes, Italy scores a goal and takes the lead (0:1). Since it seems more likely now that your bet will lose, we offer you a chance to cash out for R6. You can cash out the R6 to ensure your entire stake is not lost, or keep your original bet in the hope that the run of play will change.
The “Cash Out” option is displayed in the ‘My bets’ section of the bet slip (live betting) or the ‘My bets’ section of your account.
We do not guarantee being able to offer “Cash Out” at any time. After clicking the ‘Cash Out’ button, the system checks the availability of the respective bet. If the bet is frozen, already closed or the respective odds have changed, the ‘Cash Out’ can be rejected. Odds changes can be accepted in advance by activating the corresponding option in ‘Settings’.

The sound of the bell is the signal for the start of the first round for betting purposes. When one fighter cannot answer the bell for the next round, then the other fighter will be considered the winner in the previous round.
In Boxing, a round is considered to be fully played, when 1:30 minutes of the round are played. In MMA, a round is considered to be fully played, when 2:30 minutes of the round are played. When a fight is declared as "No contest" (Fight without decision) all bets will be void, with the exception of those bets that have already been settled by the evolution of the event.
Tie or technical tie: Tie is a points tie. Technical tie is if the referee stops the fight before the fifth round begins, for any reason other than knockout, technical knockout or disqualification.
Knockout: A knockout is when a fighter does not get up after the count of 10. Technical knockout is when the 3 knockout rule applies or if the referee decides so. Any retirement in the corner will be considered a technical knockout unless the fight is decided by the judges' points or if it is declared as "No contest".
Technical decision: It is determined by the referees' point markers at any time other than the end of the fight.
Significant Strikes: Are any Distance Strike or Clinch/Ground Strikes that are considered "Power Strikes" by official scorers. A Significant Strike will count as both a strike and a significant strike and will be worth a total of 0.4 Pts
Knockdown: Is awarded to a fighter who knocks his/her opponent down due to debilitation for what the official scorers consider an appreciable amount of time.
In MMA and UFC, regular strikes refer to any legal striking technique, including punches, kicks, elbows, and knees, that a fighter uses to attack their opponent.
These strikes are counted towards a fighter's overall striking statistics. On the other hand, significant strikes are a subset of regular strikes and are defined as strikes that have a clear impact on the opponent, either by landing with significant force or by visibly affecting the opponent.
Significant strikes are used to measure a fighter's effective striking during a match, and they are often a key factor in judging the outcome of a fight.
In summary, while regular strikes encompass all legal striking techniques, significant strikes specifically refer to those strikes that have a noticeable impact on the opponent.

Cricket
All bets will be settled according to the official result.
Cricket matches consist of either one or two innings, 1st innings markets on a match played with a single innings (e.g T10, T20 events) are considered as full time markets for resulting purposes. On a match with two innings (e.g. Test Series) 1st innings and 2nd innings markets will correspond to each inning separately for resulting purposes, cumulative markets for full time won't include any innings in the description of the markets.
If a match is cancelled before any play has taken place, then all markets are considered void unless the match is replayed within 48 hours of its initial starting time. In the event of an over not being completed, all undecided markets on this specific over are considered void unless the innings has reached its natural conclusion e.g. declaration, team all out, etc.
Some tournaments may last up to 5 days (e.g. Test Series), Decided markets will be resulted instantly, any markets that require an event to be fully completed (e.g.. Winner, Handicap) will be resulted after the events are officially announced as completed.
In some events the Duckworth–Lewis method may be applied by the officials in order to determine the winner. The Duckworth–Lewis–Stern method (DL) is a mathematical formulation designed to calculate the target score for the team batting second in a match interrupted by weather or other circumstances.
If markets remain open with an incorrect score which has a significant impact on the prices, we reserve the right to void betting.
In the event of a match being reduced in overs for either one or both teams (e.g. from 50 to 35 overs due to bad weather conditions) we reserve the right to void any undecided bets placed on the initial format and adjust odds and markets/lines accordingly in order to be offered again based on the new format.
Super over result is included only on markets with (incl super over) indication.
If a match is created in the wrong format (i.e. T10 instead of T20), bets will be void and a new match will be created.
In limited overs matches at least 80% of the originally allotted overs in each innings must be bowled unless settlement is already determined, or the match has reached its natural conclusion without either innings being shortened to less than 80% of the originally allotted overs. In first class or Test matches the whole match counts but in the case of a drawn match at least 200 overs must be bowled in the match.

E-Sports
General Rules
All esports markets are based on in-game score events or results at the end of a scheduled match/map. All settlements will occur using the official score and results which are declared on the official video stream or the in-game stream of the relevant matches.
All match start dates and times displayed for Esports matches are for indication purposes only and are not guaranteed to be correct. Bets will stand if a match is offered with an incorrect date and/or time.
If a match is paused/postponed and not rescheduled to a later time within 48 hours of the actual scheduled start time, then all bets on that match will be voided.
If the name of a player/team/tournament is misspelled, all bets will still stand unless it’s obvious that the misspelled name is the same as a different entity.
If a team name is changed due to a team leaving the organization, joining another organization, or due to an official change of team name, all bets will stand.
If the organizer of the event allows for stand-ins and there is an official result, all bets will be resulted as normal.
In the case where there is an overruling of a match result by the organiser due to unforeseen circumstances - such as cheating - all bets on that match will be voided.
If a match has been declared as a walkover win by the tournament organizer, all bets will be void.
If one team retires during a match, only wagers on the completed individual maps will be resulted. Match market, match side markets and all other undecided map markets will be voided.
All markets consider overtime, unless stated otherwise in the market name.
If the match format is changed or differs from the one which is being offered, we reserve the right to void all bets.
If the fixture is listed incorrectly, we reserve the right to void all bets.
If a match is played before the scheduled start date / time, all bets placed after the actual start of the match will be refunded. All bets placed before the actual start of the match will stand.
If a match or map is replayed due to an organizer or technical issues, all undecided markets will be void, replayed matches or maps will be handled separately as new match.
If the final gameplay length/duration is the same as a particular threshold, it is resolved as OVER.
Where an event involves the same two players or teams playing multiple games or maps, for example “best of 3”, and one or more games or maps are not played because the result of the event has already been determined, bets on unplayed games or maps are void and stakes refunded. Dates and start times are shown for information purposes only and may not be accurate.
Where an event is cancelled, postponed or interrupted and not completed within 48 hours of the originally scheduled start time, bets on that event are void and stakes refunded. However, games or maps that are completed within 48 hours are settled normally even if additional games or maps that were supposed to be part of the same matchup are cancelled or further postponed.
Bets are settled based on the official broadcast of the game by the publisher or event organiser. Where the broadcast shows a counter of rounds won, kills, dragons, towers etc., this will generally be used to settle relevant bets. If the result of a bet is unclear from the broadcast, or if there is no broadcast, then the statistics API for the game will be used where available.
In the case of indexed or numbered markets (such as the winner of a specific round in Counter Strike: GO, or the team to score a particular numbered kill in League of Legends or DOTA2), the index determines the objective that counts.
Words such as “next” in the market name are not guaranteed to be correct, as broadcasts may be delayed and we may not always advance the index precisely when an objective is scored or a round completed. All bets are therefore settled on the particular numbered round or objective specified, regardless of any other wording in the market name or its timing in relation to when the bet was placed.
If the scheduled number of rounds or maps is changed, or if markets are erroneously offered based on a different number of rounds or maps from the actually scheduled number, then bets on the winning margin (including handicap), total rounds / maps, correct scores etc. are void and stakes refunded.
Map winner and matchup winner bets stand. If any map is not played or is awarded to one player or team by walkover or default without play having commenced, all bets on that map and on the matchup as a whole are void and stakes refunded. Bets relating only to maps that are played stand. A map is deemed to have started as soon as the game clock starts or either team or player takes a game action relating to that map, including picks, bans and weapon purchases.
This rule applies to all bets placed on matches where a disconnection or technical issue occurs to a competitor. If a competitor disconnects or quits after the 10th minute of play of a Map has started, bets have action according to the official result provided by a combination of sources including the Dotabuff match page and relevant Twitch clips.
If a competitor disconnects in the first 10 minutes and he is able to reconnect or be replaced for the rest of the Map, all affected bets on that Map and Match will stand.
This rule works for all eSports, except for CS.
At CS 2 If a player disconnects and nobody replaces him then If they decide to play 4v5 and they play AT LEAST 3 rounds after the moment of the disconnection then all undecided map markets, including match moneyline + undecided match side markets are all void.
Counter Strike:GO Rules
Where Overtime can be played, this will be included in the settlement of markets; unless the Draw participant is quoted for a specific market, in which case settlement will be based on the statutory number of rounds.
Most map bets are based on the scheduled number of rounds excluding extra rounds played in the event of a draw. If, however, a map winner market is offered without a “draw” selection then this is settled in favor of the overall winner of the map including extra time if played.
Title-specific vocabulary:
• T / CT (Terrorists / Counter-terrorists): title specific name of Dark / Light team
• Round: Team wins Rounds to win the Map. Round is won when 1) one team eliminates the other 2) by Terrorists when they successfully detonate the bomb 3) by Counter-terrorists when the bomb does not detonate in 120 seconds from the start of the Round. First team to score 16 Rounds wins the Map.
• Overtime: In case of Map draw score, first overtime is being played in Bo6 format. In case of another draw , next overtime with same rules will be played. This process repeats until one team wins overtime. Overtime rules can be tournament-specific.
• Pistol round: 1. and 13. round on a particular Map.
Dota2 Rules
For bets involving towers, all destroyed towers count as having been destroyed by the opposing team even if the last hit was from a minion.
For bets involving barracks, all destroyed barracks count as having been destroyed by the opposing team even if the last hit was from a minion. The ranged and melee barracks in each pair count as separate barracks, so that each team has a total of six barracks.
For bets involving kills (other than “First Blood”), the official broadcast or game API if available is definitive in determining whether the death of a Champion counts as a kill. For example, where a Champion is killed by tower or minion damage without the involvement of an enemy Champion this may not be registered as a kill on the broadcast, in which case it does not count as a kill for bet settlement purposes.
For bets on First Blood, the broadcast or official API score must register the kill as First Blood. Where, for example, a kill is denied by a team-mate, it may not be counted as First Blood (regardless of whether it is registered as a kill on the broadcast kill counter), in which case it will not count as First Blood for bet settlement purposes.
For the avoidance of doubt, all kill markets other than “First Blood” are settled based on the kill counter, but a kill that is registered on the kill counter will count as First Blood only if it is announced as such.
For bets on Roshans, the team that scores the last hit on Roshan as determined by the broadcast or game API if available is deemed to have slain Roshan, regardless of the player who picks up the aegis of the immortal.
For bets involving the next team to score a particular objective or the team to score the most of a particular objective, where a “neither” or “draw” option is offered and is the winning outcome, bets on either team are losers. Where no such selection is offered and neither team is a winner, all bets on the market are void and stakes refunded.
Where one team surrenders, bets stand and are settled as follows. For bets involving the map winner, the winning team is the team that did not surrender. Bets involving Roshans, barracks and kills are settled based on the situation at the time the surrender takes place.
Bets involving towers are settled as if the winning team had destroyed the minimum number of additional towers theoretically required to win the game normally from the position when the surrender occurred. For example, if the winning team has destroyed all tier 1 towers and one tier 2 tower, then it will be deemed to have destroyed three further towers (seven in total), since it would have needed to destroy at least one tier 3 tower and the two ancient towers to have won the game normally from that position.
Title-specific definitions:
• Ancient: The primary objective of the Map. The first team to destroy opposing team’s Ancient wins the Map.
• GG: This allows the relevant team to surrender the Map when typed into the all chat.
• Dire / Radiant: The title specific name of Dark / Light opposing teams
• Kill: The Light/Dark team’s score, which represents the total number of times members of the opposing team were killed.
• Aegis: An item which appears after the game objective Roshan is killed. It can be picked up by a player.
• Tower: A team specific game objective, which can be destroyed by opposite team.
• Barracks: A team specific game objective, which can be destroyed by opposite team.
League of Legends (LoL) Rules
For bets involving towers, all destroyed towers count as having been destroyed by the opposing team even if the last hit was from a minion.
For bets involving inhibitors, all destroyed inhibitors count as having been destroyed by the opposing team even if the last hit was from a minion. For bets involving the number of inhibitors destroyed, each of the six inhibitors counts only once, even if it is destroyed, respawns and is destroyed again.
For bets involving the next inhibitor destroyed, each destruction of an inhibitor counts separately, even where it has respawned and is being destroyed for a second or subsequent time.
For bets involving kills (including “First Blood”, which in League of Legends is synonymous with the first kill on the map), the official broadcast or game API if available is definitive in determining whether the death of a Champion counts as a kill. For example, where a Champion is killed by tower or minion damage without the involvement of an enemy Champion this may not be registered as a kill on the broadcast, in which case it does not count as a kill for bet settlement purposes.
Bets involving dragons, barons and kills are settled based on the situation at the time the surrender takes place.
Bets involving towers and inhibitors are settled as if the winning team had destroyed the minimum number of additional towers and / or inhibitors theoretically required to win the game normally from the position when the surrender occurred.
For example, if any inhibitor of the losing team is down at the time of surrender then no additional inhibitor is deemed to have been destroyed. If no inhibitor of the losing team is down then the winning team is deemed to have destroyed one additional inhibitor, with priority given to an inhibitor that has already been destroyed if such an inhibitor exists and has respawned.
If the winning team has destroyed all tier 1 towers and one tier 2 tower, then it will be deemed to have destroyed three further towers (seven in total), since it would have needed to destroy at least one tier 3 tower and the two nexus towers to have won the game normally from that position.
Title-specific vocabulary:
• Nexus: the primary objective of the Map. The first team to destroy opposing team’s Nexus wins the Map.
• Kill: The Blue/Red team’s score, which represents the total number of times members of the opposing team were killed.
• Turret: a team specific game objective, which can be destroyed by opposite team.
• Inhibitor: a team specific game objective, which can be destroyed by opposite team.

Football - General
All match markets are based on the result at the end of the regular time. This includes any added injury or stoppage time but does not include extra time, time allocated for a penalty shootout or a golden goal. Video Assistant Referee (VAR) will be taken into account. Decisions made after a significant event occurs, may result in confirmed bets being voided. Bets voided will be from the time of the significant event, until the time the final VAR decision was officially announced. An exception is made when this rule relates to friendly matches. In such cases, all match markets are settled based on the actual result at the end of the game (excluding any extra time), irrespective of whether the full 90 minutes is played. This rule applies only to matches with regular playing time of two 45-minute halves.
Some Soccer matches may have different playing schedules. In that case the following will apply:
- 90 minutes scheduled play (3 x 30 minutes). Full-time bets are still considered valid. Half-time bets are considered void.
- 80 minutes scheduled play (2 x 40 minutes). All bets are still considered valid.
Should any match be played prior to the date or kick-off time denoted then bets will stand provided the wager is placed not later than the revised kick-off time.
All bets on a match abandoned before the completion of the regular time will be void unless the match is rearranged and played on the same date (local time) or stated otherwise in the rules, except for bets on any markets that have been unconditionally determined.
If the game does not take place as scheduled and is not played on the same date (local time) all bets are void. An exception is made if incorrect kick-off time is announced on our website.
If a match venue is changed then bets already placed will stand providing the home team is still designated as such. If the home and away team for a listed match are reversed then bets based on the original listing will be void.
Bets will stand if we list a team name without specifying the term 'XI' in the name.
In the absence of an official source, or when significant conflicting evidence is present, bets will be settled based on our own statistics.
Extra Time
All bets are settled on the official statistics for the extra time period only. Any goals, corners, etc. that were taken or scored during the regulation time do not count. Extra time does not include a Penalty shootout.
Penalties Shootout
For handicap betting, all penalties taken in the shootout are counted, including sudden death (the additional penalties after the first 10 penalties).
In over/under betting, the result includes only converted penalty kicks from the standard ten penalties in the shootout and does not include sudden death. If the match does not go to a penalty shootout all bets are void.
1X2/HC/OU for 5/10/15 minutes markets

You can place bets on either 1X2 FT Money Line, Handicap or Over/Under.
Next minute markets
Each market refers to a specific 1 or 5 minute period in the match. It is split into minutes and seconds and it is displayed as part of the market title. 00:59 seconds counts as the first minute, 01:59 counts as the second minute, and so on.
Injury time does not count. For example:
The 5 minute period 40:00-44:59 refers to the first half only and does not include first half injury time. The 5 minute period 45:00-49:59 refers to the start of the second half only and does not include first half injury time. The 5 minute period 85:00-89:59 refers to the second half only and does not include second half injury time.
A settlement will be made based on data from the TV broadcaster covering the match, or if not available - based on the official website of the competition, or if not available - based on data transmitted by our data providers.
If a match is abandoned during any of these minute markets, all bets placed will be void if the time of the bet period was not completed. Bets in which the time of the bet period was completed will be settled and not declared void.
If a specified minute period is not completed, all bets will be void unless a winning market has already been established prior to the stoppage in play. All disallowed or cancelled goals, corner kicks, cards, penalties, free kicks, goal kicks and throw-ins will not count.
Goal will be settled on the time the goal is scored.
- Corner is considered to have happened when it is AWARDED (not when it is taken).
- Cards - both yellow and red cards count. Only cards shown to players on the playing field count. A card is considered to have happened when it is shown.

Asians
The Asian Line is a special type of handicap used for Football matches. Depending on the strength of each team, a handicap is issued for the game. This enables the odds for each side to be more similar, allowing more competitive betting opportunities. All bets on the Asian Handicap in live betting (including 1st/2nd half bets) are settled according to the score line. Any goals prior to the bet being placed are ignored for settlement purposes. If a game is abandoned, bets will be void.

General Rules
Tennis games will be kept open with all bets valid until the officials or organising body declares a winner. In such cases, the 48 hours rule is not valid.
However, and in case of a player retirement, or default (injury,Illness, or personal circumstance), adult decision, walkover, disqualification or abandonment, all markets determined in the pitch are settled accordingly and all the rest undecided declared void and null. For avoidance of doubt, if a tennis player retired before the last point concluded, the match winner market is void, but all markets related to specific sets or games that are determined, are settled accordingly.
Markets that have been mathematically reached will be settled after the deciding point has been confirmed. Example: at the set score of 3-3, the minimum number of games for the set to be completed is 9 (either 6-3 or 3-6). This means that total lines of 6.5, 7.5 and 8.5 can already be settled as win for Over. Integer lines where neither selection wins will be voided.

A Tie Break or Super Tie Break will be valid as long as the decision is announced before the start of the event.
Point winner markets: Point winner markets are settled after said point is confirmed. If the point will not be played, the market will be voided.
How Major Tournaments Handle Tiebreaks
If the score reaches six games all in the final set (2-2 or 1-1 score in sets and 6-6 score in games), the match winner(s) will be the first player(s) to win 10 points with an advantage of two or more points (10-8, 10-7, 10-6, 11-9, 15-13 etc). The above rule applies to all Grand Slams (Australian Open, French Open, US Open, Wimbledon) across Qualifying, Men’s singles and doubles, Women’s singles and doubles, Wheelchair and Junior events in singles.

Asian Handicap
Asian handicaps are, as the name suggests, a special type of handicap betting popular in the Far East and commonly used in football betting.
In addition to typical +1, 0, and -1 handicaps seen in standard handicap football match betting, Asian handicap allows for a ¼ goal, ½ goal and a ¾ goal start. On the face of it this may not seem to make a lot of sense, since any team that beats (or loses to) a ½ goal start will also beat (or lose to) a ¼ goal start. However, there is more to ¼ and ¾ ball betting than meets the eye.
As for normal handicap betting, the underdog will be awarded a head start of a handicap, and the favourite will concede a handicap of the same magnitude. For the purposes of bet settlement, the predetermined number of the handicap will be added to the real number of goals. Where no handicap is awarded (0:0 handicap), a drawn game will result in a tied bet and returned stakes. if either side wins, bets backing that team will win, whilst bets backing the other will lose.
Similar rules apply for 1 goal (0:1) and 2 goal (0:2) Asian handicaps. When ½ ball handicaps are applied, bets can only be won or lost – a tied bet is impossible. If the handicap is set at ¼ (or ¾, 1¼, 1¾ etc) of a goal, then any bets on the match will be settled as a split stakes bet, with half the stake going on the handicap ¼ of a goal less than the quote and half on the handicap a ¼ of a goal more. For example, with a ¼ ball handicap, half the stakes will be settled as though the handicap was 0, and half as though the handicap was ½. It follows, then, that if a team beats a ¼ ball handicap by ½ or more, the backer will win the whole bet; if they lose by ½ or more, the backer will lose the whole bet. It is only when the result falls within ¼ of the handicap that the result is different from a conventional handicap.
When a team beats the handicap by a ¼, the backer receives half stakes on a win, and half returned. For example, if R10 were staked at odds of 1.95 for a ¼ ball advantage, a drawn game would return a profit of R4.75. This is known as a “win ½”. If a team loses by a ¼, the backer has only half his stake returned. This is known as a “loss ½”.
B
Back
To back a selection is to place a bet of any amount, on a stated event occurring. 'Backing' a football team, is betting on that team winning.
Banker
A selection that is an extremely strong favourite may be considered by many as a banker. Bankers are often used as the cornerstones of combination bets to boost value.
Bet Receipt
Once a bet is placed successfully, you will receive a receipt on which will be a unique bet receipt number. If you do not receive a bet receipt, then your bet is not confirmed.
Bet slip
The bet slip is where you can add/remove selections and enter your desired stake amount before confirming your bet. Your final odds and potential winnings are displayed here.

The cash out option has become increasingly popular in online betting. This is where you can settle a bet before an event has finished, such as cashing out a 6-fold accumulator with five legs already having been won and you wish to take your profits early.
Combination Bet
A combination bet is where you place multiple bets on your selections. It is a full coverage bet so even if one selection loses, the entire bet won’t be lost.

D
Dead Heat
Where 2 or more selections tie in an event.
Decimal Odds
You can choose how you want to view your odds to be displayed on your account. Decimal Odds show the odds as a decimal (e.g. 4.00). Decimal odds include both your stake and winnings. Your returns are easily calculated in this format, by simply multiplying the decimal odds by your stake.
For example, R10 at odds of 4.00, returns you (R10 x 4.00) R40. This is inclusive of the stake being returned.
Doubles
An accumulator which involves two selections. Both must be successful for the bet to win.
Double Chance
Double chance reduces the 3 outcomes for a football match to 2, by what is known as ‘Double Chance’ betting, where a single price is offered on a win or draw. If the backed team wins or draws, the bet wins; if the team loses, so does the bet. With double chance bets there is no possibility for the draw.
The win/draw odds will always be shorter than for both the individual win and draw odds, because the chances of either outcome occurring are greater than for each one separately.
Draw No Bet
This is a form of a coverage bet when you back a selection in a football match for example, to win, but if the game is drawn then you will get your stake back. So, in the outcome of a draw, essentially no bet has been made and your stake is returned.

Form
Past performances used to give an indication of the competitor's chances.
Fractional Odds
These are commonly used for betting in the UK and Ireland. Fractional odds give you your profit excluding your stake, so your stake needs to be added back on to calculate your total return.
For example : R10 @ 6/4 = R15.00 (this is your Profit) plus your stake back (R10) = R25 (your total return).
To convert the fractional odds to decimal prices, divide the left hand figure by the right hand figure and add 1.
For example: 6/4 + 1 = 1.5 + 1 = 2.5 (therefore R10 x 2.5 = R25= your Total Return).

Match Betting (1X2)
The most popular and common fixed odds betting market is match betting. In standard match bets between two teams, winning odds are available for both, and the wager will either win or lose depending on the outcome of the event.
Since a significant proportion of games end without any winner, the “draw” is offered as a betting option.
Football fixed odds match betting is also known as 1X2 betting. On fixed odd coupons, a “1” denotes the home team, with the away team represented by a “2” and the draw by an X.
Multiples
Another term for Accumulators. Multiple bets involve more than one selection. Double and trebles are popular wagers for football match betting. A double is one bet involving two selections in different events, both of which must be successful for the bet to win.
The odds for a double are calculated by multiplying together the separate odds for the two single bets. Accumulators contain 4 or more selections. Often, the only limit to the number of selections included within an accumulator bet is the bookmaker’s maximum allowable pay-out on one bet.
N

Singles
The simplest of all bets is the single. With a single bet on a football match, only one outcome is backed, and the bet can generally either win or lose, although in Asian handicap, there are other possibilities.
With a simple win/lose single, a selection must be successful to achieve a return. A typical single match bet might be Liverpool to beat Manchester United at 2/1. If Liverpool win, a R10 stake would realise a profit of R20; if they draw or lose, the stake is lost.
Spread Betting
Spread betting is similar to a handicap type system of betting and it is primarily used in US. In spread betting you back a team to cover a spread, essentially saying a team will lose by no more than 3 points or will win by 5. In order for the spread to covered on a -4 for example, the winner would need to win by 5.

US Prices
These are commonly used in North America and Canada when betting on US sports. To calculate the Payoff on US Prices, convert the US Prices to decimal prices as follows:
- For a Favourite, for example -1.25, divide 100 by 125 and add 1 = 1.80
- For an Underdog, for example +1.25, divide 125 by 100 and add 1 = 2.25
Examples:
- R10 at -125 gives you a Total Return of 10 x 1.80 = 18
- R10 at +125 gives you a Total Return of 10 x 2.25 = R22.50
