The Delightful Daily Lotto: Easy Guide
Table of Contents:
In 2000, the first national lotto was launched, and it was simple. Pick your numbers and tune in once a week to find out if you have won. Then came Lotto Plus. Then PowerBall. Then Powerball Plus. Then Lotto Plus 2. Somewhere along the way, things got a little confusing, and that’s even before we started to discuss the different daily lotto’s from around the world!
Navigating the modern lotto landscape means understanding how these daily lotto’s work. If you can do that, then you will also discover how payouts worth billions of rand are on offer much, much more often than you ever thought!
Daily Lottos
Lottoland currently offers eight different lottos that are drawn at least once a day! These lottos are based on draws in both Europe and America, with payouts ranging from one million to over four billion rand!
The table below highlights the daily lottos that are on offer, starting with the draws that occur most frequently.

Some of the names on this list may be strangers to you, while you may be surprised to discover a few names with which you are already very well acquainted.
EuroMillions…EuroJackpot…Every hour!?!?
That’s right! Amongst the daily offerings are some of Europe’s most famous lotteries. EuroMillions, EuroJackpot and 6/49 have been redesigned by Lottoland to have a draw every single hour. You will still bet on the same big payout, but now you can do it without waiting days between draws.
Let’s look at these daily gems in a bit more detail and give them the attention they deserve!
Keno 24/7
Keno 24/7 offers you the opportunity to play for a payout of up to R10 million every 4 minutes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The beauty of Keno 24/7 lies in how customisable each bet can be.
You can choose between one and ten numbers, and you can use a stake multiplier to boost payouts - If you choose between one and six numbers, you could choose a mighty multiplier of 25,000x!
If you choose ten numbers and match them all with the draw, you will hit a payout of R1 million. Remember though, this will transform into a mighty R10 million payout if you choose the 10x multiplier! Smaller payouts are also possible if choose and/or match less numbers.
KeNow
KeNow is the cheapest entry on our daily lotto list, with a basic bet costing just R1! To bet on KeNow, you need to choose between one and ten numbers from a choice of seventy; as always with Keno, the more numbers you choose, the bigger the potential payout.
This is also one of the few bets around that will reward you for matching no numbers! If you choose eight, nine or ten numbers and don’t match a single number, you will receive a payout matching your stake! At the other end of the scale, if you matched all ten numbers and chose the 10x stake multiplier, you would hit a payout of R1 million!
6/49 Go!
6/49 Go! is an hourly interpretation of the ever-popular German Lotto. The bet is a traditional lotto bet: choose six numbers from 49 plus a ‘SuperNumber”. If you match every number, you could be taking home up to R16 million. Should you not match any number, you will get your money back!
The bet is just R20 per line, but just like the German Lotto, there are three extra bonus bets you can take. Spiel 77 could net you the ZAR equivalent of €177,777 for a R40 bet, and Super6 could earn you the equivalent of €100,000 for R20. Meanwhile, the mighty GlücksSpirale may cost R90 per bet, but it can return a payout of €10,000 per month, every month for the next 20 years!
EuroJackpot Go!
Do you want to bet on a €120 million payout (ZAR equivalent), but don’t want to wait days for the draw? Then EuroJackpot Go! could be the bet for you! For R60, you can place a bet for the EuroJackpot payout every hour – that’s 168 times a week!
The bet will be familiar to many of you; choose five balls from a choice of fifty and two bonus numbers from twelve, and your bet is set! None of the numbers come up? Don’t worry, if you don’t match a single number, we will refund you your bet!
EuroMillions Go!
EuroMillions Go! shares many similarities with the previously mentioned EuroJackpot. You select five numbers from fifty plus two lucky stars. The EuroMillions Go! draw is also every hour, and bets will be refunded if you don’t match any numbers.
There are two main differences, though. The first is price. The EuroMillions Go! bet comes in slightly more expensive at R70. What do you get for that extra R15, you may ask? Well, that leads to the second, much bigger difference! The top payout for EuroMillions Go! is double the EuroJackpot offering. This means that instead of betting on the ZAR equivalent of €120 million, you are betting on a whopping payout of €250 million!
German Keno
The second entry from Germany on our list, and the third keno bet, is German Keno. The draw for German keno, which costs just R3 to bet on, occurs every day at 20:10 and has a top payout of R1 million.
To bet on German Keno, you only need to choose between two and ten numbers from a selection of seventy. The more numbers you pick, the higher your potential payout. To make life even easier, you can even choose the QuickPick feature to have the numbers selected for you automatically!
Mini Lotto
Poland’s Mini Lotto is not only one of the cheapest lottos on Lottoland, but it is also the easiest to win! Mini Lotto is drawn every single day at 22:40, costing just R10 per bet.
The lotto itself is straightforward. All you need to do is pick five numbers from a choice of 42. You can also look to boost your odds by placing a System Bet which allows you to choose up to 12 numbers,
Cash4Life
Cash4Life offers something a little different. Here’s the deal: you place a fixed-odds bet for R25, then you choose five numbers from sixty and one of four Cash Ball Numbers. If your numbers match, then you get R10,000 every day for the rest of your life!
It may sound a bit too good to be true, but the odds on this lotto are actually a lot more favourable than some of its better-known counterparts. While MegaMillions has odds of over 290 million to one, and German Lotto has odds of one in 139 million, your chances of coming home with the top prize with Cash4Life are only around one in 21 million!
